Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. These terms and conditions shall apply to all contracts for the sale of services. These terms shall take precedence over terms stated in an order received

2. In these terms and conditions reference to the “Company” shall mean Hygiene Audit Systems Limited as stated on the invoice. “Customer” means the person, company or organisation purchasing the goods. “Services” means the services specified in the company’s invoice. An “audit” and “inspection” shall mean the examination of any documents or records or premises and standards of the customer for the purposes of providing advice to the customer on safety issues.

3. Please refer to the "Contact Us" page for details of how to contact the company.

4. The Company shall arrange and provide services on the basis of receipt of an official order from a person or person who has stated he/she is an appointed person to make an official order.

5. The Company shall not be liable for any loss of the customer where this is due to an act or omission of the customer or one of its employees or clients or customers of the customer.

6. Any audit or inspection provided by the company shall be for guidance purposes only and shall not be construed to be an indication of all activities or standards at a premises or site at any one time. The audit or inspection report shall only relate to the standard found at the time of audit or inspection and shall not relate to standards that may exist either before or after the audit or inspection.

7. Any advice or guidance provided in training manuals or verbally by trainers shall be for general guidance only and shall not be construed by the customer to apply to any particular situation.

8. For any training session sold, the rules and regulations for the training can be found by looking at the examination body’s website.

9. Please be aware that all training sessions are sold under the director’s partnership company Hygiene Audit Systems and not the company.

10. For goods, as opposed to services, payment shall be made prior to delivery.

11. Any problems with invoices must be notified to us within 14 days of invoice date.

12. Payment must be received before goods are dispatched, or in the case of a training course, within 14 days of the commencement of the course.

13. No goods or services will be supplied to the customer until payment has been received in full.

14. Details of any payment by BACS to the Company will be made available on any invoice issued.

15. It is the responsibility of the cardholder to retain copies of any transactions and reference numbers relating to such transactions, the company strongly recommends the cardholder does this for future reference purposes.

16. All our transactions are completed by WorldPay who use the industry standard 128 bit SSL -encryption to protect your payment details.

17. Any customer service query sent to the company will attempt to be resolved the same working day if it is received during normal business hours ( ). If this is not possible contact will be attempted the following day. Please note; no guarantees are associated with the company's query response time scale and we cannot be held responsible for any loss caused by our delay in responding to you.

18. The company will make all reasonable attempts to keep stock details up to date but cannot be held responsible if stock levels are incorrect. A selection of our products will be delivered direct from the manufacturer. Please be aware that the contract of sale remains between Hygiene Audit Systems Ltd and the customer.

19. All our transactions are carried out in "£ GBP Sterling". It is the responsibility of the cardholder to calculate their card suppliers or banks conversion rate if paying from an account that uses a different currency. The company will not be held liable for any charges or fees incurred by the customer in relation to paying for their goods or services.

20. The company will add VAT at the current rate to ALL transactions. The customer will remain responsible for claiming back any VAT they are due from their own tax office.

21. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any import taxes or duties if they are ordering from another country.

22. The company will make all reasonable efforts to supply you with an order confirmation within 24 hours of your online order. If this is not possible an alternative will be arranged the next working day where possible. The company cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred by an order confirmation not being received by the customer.

23. The failure of the company at any time or for any period to enforce any one or more of these terms and conditions shall not be a waiver of them or a waiver of a right to enforce such Terms and Conditions on a future occasion.

24. The Contract between the Company and Customer shall be governed and construed in accordance with English Law.


Shipping Policy

1.  We will attempt to deliver goods world wide as long as the correct delivery fee has been paid. It is the responsibility of the customer to select the correct delivery method where applicable to the final destination of the goods

2.  Any product marked as free delivery is only applicable to deliveries within the British Mainland ( England , Scotland & Wales ).

3.  If you have selected products that would have qualified you for free delivery, but are outside the qualifying area, all reasonable attempts will be made to keep the delivery cost to a minimum.

4.  Any deliveries to Northern Ireland will be classed as "European".

5.  The costs associated with shipping to each region of the world are detailed on each product page. If you have a query about which delivery option you should use please use the "Contact Us" option.

6.  We will attempt to process all orders the same working day but in some instances may take up to three working days. The term "processing" does not constitute despatch or delivery of the product and some products require ordering direct from the manufacturer. All products detail estimated delivery times on their individual product pages.

7.  All processing and delivery timescales are referred to in "working days" (Monday to Friday ).

8.  Any priority shipping options available are detailed on the product pages and must be paid for in full to receive the extended level of service.


Returns Policy

1. Once goods are despatched to the customer or ordered from the manufacturer the sale is deemed to be final and the order cannot be cancelled as we have met our obligation under the terms of sale.

2. If we supply a faulty product then this can be returned to us in the as new condition for a replacement.

3. All goods returned to the company will be subject to testing and if they are found to be fully operational the customer will be liable for all shipping fees in relation to the goods being returned to the company and in turn returned to the customer.

4. Please check all DVD 's on an alternative DVD player or PC before making a claim under this policy.

5. Please contact the Operations Department at Hygiene Audit Systems Ltd if you feel you have a faulty product and advice and instructions will be given then.

6. In the case of certain goods, chosen at our discretion, we may make arrangements for a courier to collect the faulty goods.

7. No returns can be processed for damaged goods if this is not detailed on the delivery slip when you sign for the goods.

8. Once the item is deemed to be free from damage and defect at point of delivery all warranty applications are to be dealt with directly by the manufacturer. Hygiene Audit Systems Ltd will make all attempts to support the customer in making a warranty claim.

9. This policy in no way infringes or affects on your statutory rights under English Law.


Privacy Policy

1. All details provided by the customer to Hygiene Audit Systems Ltd will be used to process and invoice an order and deliver the goods. The details will be held on file for as long as they are required under English Law for tax purposes and in line with the data protection act.

2. At no time will any of your details be given or sold to any other company whatsoever.

3. From time to time Hygiene Audit Systems Ltd or Hygiene Audit Systems may wish to send you details of goods and/or services that may be of interest to you. Please use the "Contact Us" page to inform us if you wish for this not to happen.
